A healthcare centre belonging to a renowned healthcare group and located in a city in the Vendée department, in the Pays de la Loire region of western France, is looking to recruit five self-employed gastroenterologists to strengthen its medical team and continue developing its services.

About the healthcare centre

• A leading healthcare centre offering close and direct collaboration between medical and healthcare teams.

• Modern, high-level technical facilities, renovated in 2022, including an emergency department and 12 operating theatres, 2 of which are dedicated to endoscopy.

• A multidisciplinary environment that promotes daily collaboration with surgeons, anaesthetists and other specialists within the centre.

• A structured and collaborative organisation allowing doctors to develop a diverse medical practice.

• High demand for specialists: gastroenterologists currently working at the clinic are experiencing a high volume of patient demand, with an estimated 4-to-6-month waiting period for new patients.

Working conditions

As a self-employed gastroenterologist, your activity will be organised as follows:

• 2 days per week dedicated to Gastroenterology consultations.

• 2 to 3 days per week, depending on your level of activity, dedicated to outpatient procedures and operating theatre activity, particularly colonoscopies, fibroscopies and gastroscopies.

• Participation in the local on-call system, approximately 1 week every 5 weeks, including weekends.

• Integration into a fully operational organisation alongside other highly experienced gastroenterologists who are well established within the medical team.

• A high degree of autonomy in organising your working hours.

In addition, support will be provided for:

• Setting up your self-employed activity and completing the procedures related to your professional status.

• Your integration into the medical team.

• Administrative procedures related to your arrival, including support with the preparation and follow-up of the documentation required for registration with the French Medical Council (Ordre des Médecins).

• Your relocation to France, with local support and guidance.

• The medical practice, secretarial services, technical facilities and patient activity are already fully operational, allowing you to quickly focus on your medical practice without having to build a structure from scratch.

• High patient demand: thanks to the strong demand for gastroenterology services, you can start your activity quickly and have immediate potential to develop your own patient base.

Financial conditions

• Estimated professional income is between €10,000 and €15,000 per month*, after deduction of all professional expenses.

• As a self-employed practitioner, your income will be generated through your operating theatre activity, outpatient procedures and consultations.

• The doctor is responsible for the expenses associated with their professional activity, including, in particular, their share of the costs of medical supplies, administrative staff and use of the facilities.

*These figures are indicative, depend on the professional's level of activity and do not constitute a guarantee of income.

Requirements:

We are looking for gastroenterologists who have:
